Professional Labor
Household goods are packed, loaded and unloaded by Mayflower crews.
Packing, loading, unpacking and even driving are usually the customer’s responsibility.
Move Coordinator
Your single point of contact who will help you stay organized and on track as your moving day approaches and is available to answer any questions you may have throughout your move and after.
You’ll be in charge of planning, scheduling and keeping track of every aspect of the move.
Exclusive Use
Your household goods are never commingled with another customer’s shipment in the container(s).
Your items may or may not be commingled with commercial freight.
Full Value Protection
Based on $10,000 per container, unless you waive it or choose to declare a higher value.
If you want protection for your things, you can buy moving insurance separately through an outside insurance company.
Predictable Transit Times
Select the load and delivery dates that work for you.
Can vary widely depending upon factors such as truck rental availability, distance covered and unforeseen delays enroute.
Storage
Low storage rates available if needed. Final delivery from the storage to your new home is included.

We recommend scheduling as early as possible — ideally six to eight weeks before moving day. However, Mayflower has the largest network of movers in the U.S., so we can often fit your move in on shorter notice. If plans change, you can work with your move coordinator to reschedule anytime or cancel your move before your load date.
